Peer Youth Partner

Parent and Youth Peer Partners Through Wraparound

Every family involved in the Wraparound process is offered the support of a Parent Partner. Parent Partners are parents or caregivers of a youth with complex needs who go through training and are able to offer support at meetings to other parents, offer a listening ear, help families get the most out of the Wraparound process and connect families to resources in the area.

In addition, Wraparound has youth Peer Partners. These are young adults who have been involved with one or more of the youth systems when they were younger and want to help other young people. They bring their life experience and knowledge and provide someone to talk with to assist the youth and their voice in planning through the Wraparound process. For more information about parent partners or to become a parent partner, call the Family Advocacy Coordinator at 887-5519. For more information about youth peer partners or to become a youth peer partner, call the Peer Partner Coordinator at 896-2336.
